GovernanceThe BoardSEC's full board meets on a quarterly basis. It sets the strategy for the organisations, and approves annual work plans and budgets. Other working groups are established as necessary, working on time limited projects. Currently there is a diversity board working group led by Clare Dove and a membership working group chaired by Steve Wyler. Group members include:
SEC holds an AGM in late November/early December. Under SECs memorandum and articles of association all elected board members stand for election by postal ballot before the AGM. Following the AGM the new Board co-opts up to 5 additional members. |
